CEB Scores 100% on Corporate Equality Index

13 December, 2016

DC Spirit Day 2016

Many of us dream of a world where everyone is valued and treated equally. We’ve take some action toward making this world a reality, but we still have a ways to go. CEB has taken its own steps to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees. From offering same-sex domestic partner coverage in India, to extending workplace protections to members of the transgender community, CEB continues to support the mission toward equality for all.

CEB is also proud to receive a perfect 100 percent score for the second consecutive year on the 2017 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

“Scoring 100% on HRC’s Corporate Equality Index is more than just a benchmark,” says CEB Pride leader Alex G. “It means that all LGBT employees are fully supported and can thrive by honing their talents on what matters most: their work. Being named a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality is a wonderful distinction for CEB’s continued commitment to diversity and inclusion.”

CEB joins the ranks of 517 U.S. based businesses that also earned top marks this year.

Like the Human Rights Campaign, CEB Pride envisions a world where members of the LGBT community are embraced as full members of society at home, at work, and in every community. Here are a few wishes for equality from CEB Pride leaders:

“My wish for LGBT equality is that CEB is a beacon of hope for anyone who feels they don’t belong or are not accepted by society. Everyone has something to offer and should feel free to be themselves without fear.”

David D. – Senior Account Director

“My wish for equality is that we remain vigilant to the hundreds of pieces of legislation under consideration in statehouses across America that threaten to roll back the progress we have made in recent years.  Diversity is always something to celebrate.”

Brian M.  – Bookings and Billings Director

“My wish for equality is simple- when new folks enter the workforce that they feel empowered to be who they are without hiding it- regardless of what the company does, or how big it is.  Our reputation as an authority in best practices and research will hopefully lend both credibility to HRC’s Corporate Equality Index, and urgency for organizations who have not yet embraced diversity and inclusion best practices change.”

Tony D. – New Product Development Consultant

“As we celebrate the success of scoring 100% on HRC’s Corporate Equality Index for the 2nd time, and as we celebrate the achievements to-date of our other ERG’s and allies alike, my wish for equality is for us to continue our diversity and inclusion efforts, not just for CEB employees, but also for our greater communities, our members, or governments and our societies. “

Rajiv D. – Executive Advisor

We are hopeful that these wishes will be granted in the future, and CEB will continue to do our part as a leading company with strong policies, benefits, and practices for LGBT.  To learn more about CEB’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace, visit CEB Pride’s portal on cebcareers.com.
