CEB Insight Case Competition Gains Ground in India

14 October, 2016

CEB’s Insight Case Competition launched for the first time in India, generating more than 850 applications from business students across the country. The CEB Insight Case Competition offers the brightest minds in the country the unique opportunity to team up, research a real business case, and present their ideas to global CEB executives.

After several elimination rounds, 18 teams were selected to present their cases, and six teams became finalists.

“I was so impressed by the quality of insights developed by these students,” said Teresa Green, CEB’s head of Talent Acquisition. “If this is the future of CEB talent, it is indeed promising.”

The panel of judges included Jay Shankavaram (Country head, India), Mudit Gupta (Research Leader), Shailaja Venkat Iyer (HR Director), Teresa Green (Head of Talent Acquisition, HR), and YVL Pandit (Managing Director, India Talent Management, Integrated BPDS & TM).

The final case presentations from the teams demonstrated their hard work and innovative thought process in a series of well-structured presentations that left the judges impressed.

“This event exemplified enterprise leadership at its best. The collaboration between HR and the business was outstanding, delivering exceptional results and connecting us to terrific talent,” Teresa said.

The winners were IIM Calcutta and the runners-up were IIM Ahmedabad.
